This War of Mine vous a permis de vivre la guerre à travers les yeux de civils depuis sa sortie il y a cinq ans. De nombreuses mises à jour et extensions sont venues étoffer cette expérience et lui apporter plus de nuances encore par rapport à la dure vie de civils en temps de guerre. Maintenant, pour fêter le 5e anniversaire de sa sortie, 11 bit studios est heureux de vous présenter This War of Mine: Final Cut.

This War of Mine: Final Cut contient toutes les mises à jour et les extensions gratuites sorties jusqu'à présent, ajoutant également un nouveau scénario et enrichissant les scénarios existants avec les lieux exclusifs aux DLCs Stories, même si vous ne les possédez pas. En bref, vos parties pourront désormais proposer des lieux encore jamais vus et de nouveaux défis.

This War of Mine: Final Cut marque la fin d'une ère pour 11 bit studios, alors nous laissons la parole à Przemyslaw Marszal, le directeur artistique du jeu responsable du style unique de This War of Mine : « Nous voulions mettre la touche finale à ce phénomène, qui a guidé nos choix de développement et nous a donné le courage d'exprimer notre vision créative, et grâce auquel nous avons trouvé notre voie. L'incroyable soutien de notre communauté a grandement participé à ce succès et il était donc évident que cette mise à jour serait complètement gratuite. Nous considérons Final Cut comme l'épisode final de la série unique que fut This War of Mine. Elle restera chère à nos cœurs et je ne sais pas ce que l'avenir nous offrira, mais Final Cut ne marque certainement pas la fin de notre aventure. Les esprits créatifs de notre studio, qui travaillaient jusque-là sur ce jeu, ont commencé à s'attaquer à de nouveaux défis. L'avenir sera plein de surprises et nous nous en réjouissons. »


À propos du jeu


Dans This War of Mine, vous n'êtes pas un soldat d'élite. Vous faites partie d'un groupe de civils qui tentent de survivre dans une ville assiégée ; vous devez faire face aux pénuries de nourriture, de médicaments et au danger permanent que représentent les tireurs d'élite et les collecteurs hostiles. Le jeu vous fait vivre l'expérience de la guerre sous un tout nouvel angle.

This War of Mine est rythmé par le cycle des jours et des nuits. Dans la journée, les tireurs d'élite postés à l'extérieur vous empêchent de quitter votre refuge. Vous devez donc vous concentrer sur l'entretien de votre cachette en fabriquant des objets, en faisant des échanges et en prenant soin des survivants. La nuit, emmenez l'un de vos civils en mission dans différents endroits uniques pour collecter des objets qui vous aideront à rester en vie.

Vous devez prendre des décisions de vie ou de mort en suivant votre conscience. Essayez de protéger tous les habitants de votre refuge, ou sacrifiez-en certains pour assurer votre survie à long terme. Pendant la guerre, oubliez les bonnes et mauvaises décisions, seule la survie compte. Plus vite vous le comprendrez, mieux ce sera.

Fading Embers

  • "Grab all" crashes (yes, there were two of them!) are now fixed quitting the game after subscribing to a mod could crash the game - this is no longer a case
  • children appeared at your shelter even though you don't own DLC? It's fixed!

Patch 1.4 (15 October 2015)

Here we are with big news - This War of Mine - New Beginning or Update 1.4 if you prefer numbers.

The New Beginning Update (also known as 1.4) introduces few extensions to the Scenario Editor. This includes new, more diverse characters to multiply possibilities in creating your stories. We’ve also integrated GOG Galaxy so expect new achievements heading your way!

Additionally, new language versions are now supported: Turkish, Korean and Japanese.

Please keep in mind the game has more than 60k words now, so there may be some untranslated words or some things may be missing and still require polishing - so please give us feedback and we'll take care of that.

Additionally, fixes and improvements include:

  • fixed glibc compatibility issues on Linux or simply - made to work flawlessly on Ubuntu 15

  • fixed a bug with small amount of trade items in Franko's inventory

  • fixed a bug with canceling crafting of many items after forwarding to night time

  • fixed a bug with fifth civilian in the shelter

  • price of coffee is now correlated with radio announcements

  • fixed a bug with clipped FOV on big locations

  • fixed "search body" animation

  • fixed a bug with wrong comments about fight in shelter

  • fixed exploit with dropping Saw Blade before finishing cutting through doors

  • fixed a wrong diary entries for some civilians

  • minor graphical fixes on locations

  • minor fixes in dialogues and texts

  • minor fixes in people behavior

  • Minor language fixes in the interface

  • Fix to custom portrait (no more random bug with black portraits of civilians in the scenario editor) and textures fixes


Patch 1.3.2

  • Scenario Editor in which you can write your own stories of civilians in war. Pick up members of the group, length of the conflict, weather conditions and more – it’s all up to you!

  • Character Editor where you can shape civilians, their look, skills, biographies and then play with them in the game. You can even add your photo and be a part of the story.

  • two new locations: Old Town and Looted Gas Station. Of course they can be included in your scenario!

  • two new music tracks, designed for the night missions!

Additionally, here's a quick guide on how to add own photos to the character editor:

  • only format ----> .jpg
  • due to auto-adjusting, we recommend square resolution, for example 500x500
  • place a jpg photo in Portraits folder in the game's main folder, which usually is here: C:\Users\your user name\Documents\This War of Mine
  • restart the game after uploading photo to make the photo available in the editor

Patch 1.2

This update adds a brand new shelter, from now on, each time you begin your story, you'll have a chance to start in the new building. You now also have the choice of the starting group of characters.

In addition, this update includes the following:
