Dorfromantik est un jeu de construction et de stratégie décontracté dans lequel vous construisez progressivement des paysages de village idylliques à partir de tuiles. Avec Dorfromantik, immergez-vous à nimporte quel moment dans un monde calme et paisible, et faites une pause dans la vie quotidienne. Dorfromantik offre également un défi à ceux qui le recherchent : Battre les meilleurs scores nécessite de la prévoyance et un placement stratégique.



Dans Dorfromantik, vous commencez avec une pile de tuiles de paysage générées de façon aléatoire. Les unes après les autres, vous piochez les tuiles en commençant par le haut de la pile, et les placez sur l'un des emplacements possibles avec l'orientation souhaitée. Cela permet de créer des groupes et des combinaisons de paysages, tels que des forêts, des villages ou des plans d'eau, et vous êtes récompensé par des points en fonction de l'ajustement de la tuile.



Sur certaines tuiles apparaissent des objets spéciaux qui vous donnent une tâche à accomplir : Par exemple, le moulin à vent veut être adjacent à 6 champs de céréales, la locomotive demande à être reliée à 10 rails, ou le cerf veut habiter une forêt d'au moins 50 arbres. Accomplissez ces quêtes pour obtenir davantage de tuiles afin de poursuivre l'expansion du paysage. La partie se termine lorsque la pile est épuisée.

Au fur et à mesure que vous agrandissez le paysage, vous entrez dans de nouveaux biomes colorés et découvrez des objets de jeu pré-placés qui donnent des quêtes à plus long terme. Grâce à ces dernières, vous pouvez débloquer de nouvelles tuiles, de nouveaux biomes et de nouvelles quêtes.

This update is the first of our 0.2 cycle, finally bringing you the creative mode and unlimited savegames along with many performance improvements and more. Creative Mode

• new game mode with infinite tile stack

• toggling decoration on and off should now be almost instant and decoration costs much less performance in general

• enabled incremental garbage collection to reduce performance spikes

• Clear progress in menu now also resets the local highscore. If a leaderboard entry exists, this local highscore is overwritten by the leaderboard highscore
• Fixed preplaced tile hint that sometimes disappeared and/or changed its type after saving & loading the game
• Changed preplaced tile spawn behavior: it is only possible to spawn the same preplaced tile on the map if all of them have been already discovered otherwise there is always a new one to discover
• When a preplaced tile is connected, newly spawned tileslots are no longer invalid, falsely preventing fitting tiles to be placed on them
• Challenge completed does not trigger automatically on start of the game anymore if the requested quest goals were already achieved due to the balancing adjustments

Patch 0.1.1 - Bugfixes & Improvements (29 March 2021)

Bugfixes:

• Several measures added to prevent getting stuck in loading screen due to corrupted save files
• Prevented loading duplicate of the current world by pressing "I", causing overlapping and flickering tiles
• Translucent UI no longer disabled when frame cap is turned off
• Prevented DivideByZero exceptions when detecting mouse wheel input close to 0

Graphic Improvements:

• Replaced FrameCap with VSync settings
• Background color changes slower when hovering over different biomes

Other:

• Game not running in background anymore
• Implemented measures to easier detect leaderboard cheating
• Highscore only updated once every 2 minutes or at Game Over to prevent running into steam upload limit
